After two of the Rowenta stopped working after a few months, I decided to look for something else. As for this one,
1. Nice but a little bit on the light side.
2. The button to release the water reservoir is to close to the handle. I accidentally push it so many time when grapping the handle. Annoying.
3. When you press the top button for water spray or additional steam, the water reservoid will try to pop out.
4. The stainless steel base is not that smooth. If you move the iron to fast, it will pull the fabric together and you will need a spray of water to remove the crease.

...Because I think I love you, Panasonic NIC76SR Steam Iron. This iron is heavy enough to get the creases out of corduroy pants but also has a light touch for any delicate items. It's easy to fill, easy to clean, has a safety mode so you don't burn your house down--if only it would fold the laundry and walk the dog! I recommend this iron without reservations.

This is a quality product that performs better than expected.

How many years have I looked for a replacement cover...perhaps seven, which is when I purchased my Brabantia ironing board and moved to a new state. After trying many covers "out there" all to no avail and none that fit I gave up and was continually fighting with my old cover to keep it barely on the board. One day after I turned over the ironing board to put it away I spied the magic words with the name and measurements and instantly did a search on the web. Voila! Amazon.com held the answer--a replacement finally!
Pad and cover arrived promptly and I am now one happy iron-er!

This is the worst steamer I've ever had. It would not heat up so the steam would come out and the top does not stay on.

I have peace of mind now that I place my hot iron on the iron rest after I finish ironing. It is also out of my way while I'm arranging garments onto the ironing board. It keeps me from accidently bumping the hot iron. I would buy it again.

I bought this iron for the unique lifting feature. Seemed like a good idea, but the performance is terrible. I can safely say this is one of the worst irons I have ever used! The reality, is that no matter how nifty the lifting feature is, the iron still NEEDS TO WORK! I'm packing this up and returning it.

...and Oliso found a way to make it even worse!

Honestly, what were they thinking when they came up with this one? !? "Let's make a hot iron and knock itself off your ironing board and onto your feet!" I think they've achieved that!

WARNING: Unless you place this iron square and centered on your ironing board, it is likely to knock itself off your ironing board!

This is one of those toys you buy and play with for about a day, take it out of the closet to show your friends, but isn't good for daily ironing. It's a pretty iron but it doesn't work. I bought one despite what some other folks thought about this iron, and now I regret it, I should have paid more careful attention to all the reviews! It is true about the leaking, dribbling out water, lifters knocking it off the ironing board, poor and inconsistant steam, cheap plastic construction, and non-gliding soleplate.
