NOT HAPPY
I love it!!!This was an impulse purchase for me and I was worried I'd have buyers remorse. As it turned out I am extremely thrilled with this press. For my needs it is perfect. I just zipped through a huge laundry basket of cloth napkins and dish towels that would have taken me about 5 times longer to iron. The day the iron arrived I ironed a huge load of t-shirts and other items that would have taken me a week to get through.
It is compact and well made. Because it doesn't emit steam it is very useful for various craft projects like embossing on velvet. The spray bottle that was included is handy when steam is needed.

Although this other site indicates it is a steam press, I do not believe it is. It comes with a spray bottle and a travel iron just like this offer.

a good press for the priceI received the press today. Considering the low price, I found the press very useful. The time it takes to reach temperature is just a few minutes, it's super easy to use, and it doesn't take up a huge amount of room on my sewing table. I pressed denim shorts, ribbons, and even a very wrinkled t-shirt successfully. The press is small so I can easily move it out of the way when I need more space. I am happy with it!

6 stars?I don't want to go overboard on this review but I will start by saying this is an excellent product. As a 40-something bachelor who couldn't cook to save his life I can't express my new confidence (false of course) in the kitchen after using my waffle maker! I have to admit I was drawn to this product because of its gorgeous Bauhaus looks but believe me, it's beautiful form follows it's excellent function capabilities. From the very first waffles I baked I acheived as close to waffle perfection that I have seen/tasted anywhere, including restuarant grade. You get what you pay for. Take care of this and many decades from now your progeny will remember you as they bite into maybe the best waffles they'll ever have.
Fantastic WafflesWell I bought this for my daughter who will be moving in a month. While she is still at home we have been enjoying this waffle maker. The clean-up is easy, just wipe it down with a damp cloth. The waffles remove easily and two are done in 3:30 minutes. I like it so much that I want one too. It is very heavy, and you will need counterspace to store it.
The book that came with it had recipes but strangely not for your basic waffle. So, I used the chocolate chip recipe and omitted the chips. That worked fine but their was a slight shortage of batter for the last waffle.

Perfection!!I purchased this waffle iron a few weeks ago and finally got the courage to use it yesterday. Wow, Wow, Wow!! It makes absolutely perfect and absolutely delicious Belgian waffles. Crispy on the outside, evenly browned, and moist and light on the inside. My daughter and her friend had a blast using different toppings on them. When she walked in from school today, the first thing she asked for was a waffle - and I was most happy to comply. Within 15 minutes - she was happily munching away. Clean-up is a breeze (even when I overfilled it accidentally). This is a definite keeper!

a very good ironvery happy with the iron, big difference in ironing compare to a regular steam iron.
it only could use a bigger watertank.

A Different Beast!Apparently, I am one of the few remaining individuals who feel the need for freshly ironed clothing. I've always used steam irons, Rowenta most recently, with consistently disappointing results. Over the years, I've increased my use of spray starch to make up for the power I've believed should have originated in the iron. But no more!
After deciding I wasn't ready for a presser or a mangle for my clothing, and knowing I really didn't need to press that many tablecloths, I discovered a new genre: steam generating irons. And, after some significant research, I ordered this DeLonghi model.
It is truly a different beast than anything I've ever used! What steam production!!! The temperature of the iron sole plate is controlled independently from the quantity of steam desired. Tap water is actually recommended for use. The iron, while substantial in heft, is not heavy. And the old-fashioned looking cork handle is soft, smooth and cool to the touch.
But the bottom line is the job it does on my clothing and linen! While the ads say that this machine will cut your ironing time in half, I cannot say this is true.....mainly because I find myself taking the time to marvel over how each pass with the iron produces such a professional-looking surface! Really, the only thing that's been halved is my use of spray starch, which is an unforseen and welcome benefit!
Am I happy with my new "beast?" You bet! Would I buy another? No way....I suspect this well-designed machine is going to last me a long, long time. But can I recommend one for you? Without reservation!

Best Iron I have owned!I love steam generating irons but had a bad experience with my prior iron. I bought a Euro Pro steam generating iron and after about two years it stopped steaming. I thought it should have lasted a lot longer. I contacted HSN, the company I bought it from, and complained. They passed the buck to the manufacturer. When I finally got the manufacturer to respond they wanted me to pay to ship the iron to them and pay for repairs. The Euro Pro iron was a bad investment from the start: It needed distilled water and, after I had trouble with it,I learned that the iron had a history of problems that the manufacturer did not address.
The DeLonghi Stiromeglio Compact PRO 300 Iron is a joy. It works beautifully and uses tap water. I researched the product and company and bought the iron because of the warranty and features. So far so good...

Great iron...while it lasted.I'm an ironing freak. I iron just about everything I wear. My mother-in-law has this same iron so I ran out to Bed Bath & Beyond to get one.
On the good side: Best gliding iron I've had. Great steam bursts.
On the bad side: dial was messing up a bit after only a few months. And after about 8 months of use the bottom of the iron started rusting and was getting on the clothes. So bye bye iron.

Fast and Easy IroningThis iron is good in so far as it does not burn my clothes. BUT, what I don't like about it is that when the steam comes out, also does bits of water.
This is not what is is suppose to do.

Worth the priceOn my wish list for a new iron was the vertical steam feature and no automatic shut-off. I wanted to be able to steam the wrinkles out of things like curtains while they're hanging because the ones I have are too big to wrestle with on the ironing board. I also wanted to be able to come back to the iron while I sew and not find it had turned off. The vertical steam on this iron doesn't work quite as well as I had hoped but everything else about it is very nice. It gets good and hot for things like linen yet has a nonstick soleplate. It fills easier than my old iron and I can clearly see the water level. The dial is a bit awkward and I'm never quite sure which way is off, but as I always unplug the iron and put it away, that's not much of an issue. For a fairly low-priced iron, I think it's well worth the price.

It's only a Toy steamer - just like the pump spray on your steam ironThis is one of the most poorly designed items I've ever purchased. I'm not talking about poor quality manufacturing, I mean it's a really dumb idea. Shame on you Black and Decker. I have an old hand-held Sunbeam steamer that supplies continuous steam, which is what you need to remove wrinkles quickly and easily. To get steam from the Black & Decker GS110 Steam 'n Go, you have to pump a button with your thumb that shoots out a burst of steam, very much like the pump button for extra steam on most steam irons. Unbelievable. All they've done essentially is take an iron and remove the heavy metal bottom and seal the water tank, so you can hold it in any position without spilling water. Even if you're very careful to not pump the button too quickly or too frequently, it still spits water on the garment pretty regularly. A steam iron can put out a continuous supply of steam while you have it on the garment, that's a requirement. This so-called steamer can't do that. You can't pump it often enough to get a steady supply of enough steam for even a shirt or it will spit water all over it. I'm guessing that anyone that thinks this is a good steamer, or even an adequate steamer, has never used a decent one. Do yourself a big favor and stay far away from this poorly designed, ridiculous toy steamer. What were the folks at Black and Decker thinking?
Not what I expected! This steamer is very little and confortable to take during a trip. Although, it holds a very little amount of water that makes you put water into it at all times. It takes long time for you to take the wrinkles out of your clothes.
Who says you can't press a decorated shirt?I don't usually rave about garment care products, but this gadget is terrific! I have tons of shirts that say "Do not iron if decorated!" Well fear not! The Black & Decker Steam ' n Go does a remarkable job pressing even decorated items. It also will not scorch your ironing board, or your suit, if you leave it face down on the garment, as an iron will. The only drawback I've found is the small water capacity. However, I don't see this to be a glaring oversight, and would recommend this product to any person that is fed up with scorched garments, burns from accidental contact with the business end of an iron; or people who want to travel light. This item comes with a lint brush for removing hair and so forth, as well as a foreign voltage adapter plug, as mentioned in the description. Also includes a carrying bag which can easily fit into a small section of your suitcase, or a pants pocket; if you are into cargo pants. This iterm is in-expensive, very efficient; and an overall great buy.

Unfortunatly i had to return this item . I havent been satisfied because the heating element heats up on the top rather than where it has to heat up. After ironing I could still see a lot of creases. They dont mention about the base being a wood plank either.
I have used a Simplicity machine earlier and hence i know the quality of steam press but this machine is a waste of time and money. I would rather buy a normal iron to this or pay extra and buy a better one. But this is just my opinion.
