The first time I used it I experienced what appeared to be a sudden uncontrollable draining of the water deposit. The iron was hot but the water just leaked out obviously cooling the plate in the process. The instructions didn't really explain what this could be however I have since used it without any problems.

The iron is a treat to use and at the lower price (and assuming the above problem doesn't reoccur) its a bargain.

I'd recommend getting the new ironing board from IKEA (the most expensive one) to use with it. Its also a bargain sompared to the Rowenta ones (although admittedly I have seen or used one).

Its sturdy and feels comfortable to use.

There is some sort of guarantee and so if it reoccurs I will be calling and will let you know how the experience goes....

There is no better way to keep your bananas from bruising! Packing for shipment was very nice.

My kids love these little cornbread saguaros because they love cornbread, everything about Arizona, and especially these statuesque desert sentinals. I bought the non-seasoned version of this pan last year and I'm still breaking it in, so the corn bread sticks a bit. I'm sure that the new pre-seasoned version will break in faster. Make sure to preheat the mold and grease it before putting in the batter and don't fill them too full. Enjoy!

After reading many reviews of cast iron baking pans, I decided to spend the extra $5 on the preseasoned versions. I think this was totally worth it. My son loves "cactus cornbread" and will gobble up lots of it. I use oil spray in mine and the cacti slide on out, no problem. I usually just have to wipe off a few crumbs when I am done. Now I want to get the perch pan!

This is most definitely a "Dutch Oven". Big, roomy and sturdy, that is except for the cover. Very poor design on the cover! A screw and not a real sturdy one at that hold secure the knob. The first time I used it the screw stripped and the cover starting to twirl around the screw. In addition, the paint is chipping from the knob. Besides that the pan is very useable. It will need to be treated after some use but that is normal.

This pot came in a timely manner and it was just as pictured.
I am from Louisiana and grew up watching my parents cook with cast iron pots and pans. I love mine and would recommend this item.

Cast Iron is always a good investment and this one is pre-seasoned too. At a third of the cost of my other pot and much better made, I highly recommend it. Be prepared to get a good grip on it when lifting. It's quite heavy but has comfortable stout handles on the pot and lid. The lid is also nice and heavy for a great seal with a generous knob that is coated for comfort.

I bought Rowenta just like the others expecting that I was buying a superior product. It is probably in fact the worst iron I have ever bought. Like others I had same problems others have posted with it leaking and problems with electrical connection causing it to shut off. I thought the stainless steel soleplate would be nicer then others but it just makes it less smooth. I now own the TFAL (lavender one) that sells on Amazon for 30 and it is vastly superior in quality, features, construction, etc. Also, I also contacted Rowenta and they did absolutely nothing to help resolve the problem. Avoid buying this iron and I would probably avoid Rowenta also.

It leaks. Its turns on and off when it likes. and not as smooth to iron.

I thought this was supposed to be the Rolls-Royce of irons, so a few years ago I sprung for one. This model, in fact.
It seemed as if it was good quality, but the steam spritz feature didn't always work as well as I wanted it to.
The other day, after a few years, it died. To me, that's not a quality item.
My old cheap irons lasted as long. I'm going to try one of those inexpensive Proctor Silex irons that got an excellent review on Amazon.

This is a great buy for the advid outdoors men. This set come with everything you will need to get started in cooking with CastIron. So enjoy and tell your friends.

We received this waffle maker as a gift. The waffles come out a little on the brown side, I like them a nice golden color. But it is very difficult to clean. We don't use it very much for that reason. If I had purchased this myself, I would return it.

The waffles are not a good as the ones from the commercial waffle maker found at Sunday buffets. The bottom of the pockets would be crisp and the tops a little soggy. It does heat up quickly. We later purchased the Villaware waffle maker and are happier with it.

I was probably going to spend at least $50 on a waffle maker, but decided to try this one. I think it works just fine and I plan to keep it. Very easy to use and clean up is a breeze. I used regular Hungry Jack Pancake and waffle mix per box instructions. I followed the cooking instructions supplied with the waffle maker which turned out to be a mistake. My waffles cooked exceptionally fast! The unit recommended 5 minutes cooking time. I found that after taking at least 15-20 seconds to fill the unit with batter my waffles cooked completely in only 1 1/2 - 2 additional minutes. My waffles were not perfectly formed at the edges, but I don't care. The batter starts cooking so quickly upon filling that I found I didn't really have time to try to spread the batter evenly with a spatula before closing the lid. The unit proved to be essentially mess-less; something that I did not expect at all! Not once did any batter ooze beyond the waffle iron edges-not a drop!! I used a full one cup measuring cup to fill the waffle maker for each batch. I read that someone uses a large water bottle with a spout for filling batter which probably works very well and is easier to control. Though I've never tried any other waffle maker, I think this one offers a great product at a truly unbeatable cost!

I might be doing something wrong. The user manual says that the waffles are finished when the handle can be easily lifted. I found by the time the lid can be opened the waffles are very well done. Too done. They are edible but a bit brown. Maybe more experience would help. I lived with a two slice waffle maker for years. It took forever to make waffles. Now the time is cut in half. No seams to worry about either. Easy cleanup. Nonstick works great. Just brush with oil or butter and it's good to go. Just poor in the middle and put the lid down. Glad I bought it!
