Irons Review Changes a Chore into just a Quick Step in Getting Ready for the Day
I hadn't bought a steam iron in fifteen years. I gave mine away before moving to China in 2002 and upon returning to America in 2005 I needed to buy a new one. In the past I would choose an iron based on a nice hefty weight, simplicity, traditional appearance, presence of a safety switch, and a good brand name. I was more than a little confused to find the featherweights with Jetson-like appearances and retractable cords available on the store shelves. Even after reading all of the boxes and comparing the floor-models I just didn't feel confident on the way home with my new purchase.
I have been extremely happy over the past year with my Sunbeam Steam Master Iron. I'm a big steam guy and really like that this model has a huge water tank. No more refilling halfway through the project. The iron heats up very quickly and even though it's very light it stays uniformly hot and has a good substantial feel in my hand. The controls are all at the top of the handle and easily accessible by my thumb while operating. The no stick surface has been great. I had had some bad luck with a no stick surface in the past; but this one has really been great. The only feature that I don't like is the retractable cord; so I fold the cord and stick it through the handle when I'm done using it. The few times that I've become distracted, walked away while ironing and then bolted back into the bedroom expecting to find it ablaze; I've been relieved to see the amber light blinking on the handle telling me that it has shut itself off. All things considered, this has been a great product. Show me one that will iron clothes without me and I'll switch.

Irons Review WARNING!!! Don't buy T-fal
I bought T-fal's top of the line Avantis iron even though I only have light ironing to do. It broke in less than a year - losing heat completely. T-fal would not stand behind it. I wrote to them several times. They insisted on the original sales receipt despite the fact I had the charge on my American Express bill. They had no technical advise either. Read other Amazon reviews on their products breakdowns! I've paid half as much for irons that lasted for years. Avoid this turkey and this company. I'll never buy another T-fal product and neither should you!

    Irons Review An Experiences User
I am a very experienced user of Innova. Innova is I guess you can say is the parent company of Ultrex which is a line of nonstick cookware.

Innova is not know for quality and this product is no different. There is a 25 year warranty on the Ultrex, I had mine for 6 years and the nonstick coating is off. You can return the product for another but yes, you have to pay for the shipping and if your pot is oversized, you have to pay UPS or whomever to make you a box and thats another charge.

The customer service is not world class. I had to wait almost 3 months for a replacement. The workmanship is horrible, the product is made in China, however, I've had other things made in China that were of great quality, so I don't know what is up with Innova.

I suggest that if you find a product made by Innova, avoid it! Save yourself the aggrevation! This product doesn't deserve 1 star.

Irons Review Just what I ordered!
I got the exact producted that I wanted, for the price that I thought it should be, in the time that I needed it. What more could you ask for?

    Irons Review This is great
I have two pieces of Innova cast iron cookware and plan to buy more. I own 5 pieces of Le Crueset and I do love it, but it is NO better than this is and this is MUCH cheaper. I have experienced NONE of the problems with the Innova that I have seen described here. Oh and by the way, my Le Crueset does chip too with time and wear but it still works well too. Not sure what these negative people expected, but my experience has been great. I am, by the way, a gourmet cook who puts my tools through pretty rigorous workouts.

    Irons Review My product nightmare
I bought this Wok mainly because it was a good size and made of iron. When i received the receipt from The Wok Shop it said "This wok will have to be washed several times before seasoning to remove the film that is used to prevent it from rusting in shipping over water from China." What they fail have mentioned is that the "coating" that they use is essential a thin layer of gray paint! I have worked on it for over an hour with a steel scouring pad, and I have thus far not managed to remove any of the "coating."
