Ok the picture is fuzzy, but I was sure for the price I was getting the model with the thermometer. Oh well, back to ebay.

NON-STICK? NONSENSE!!

Thinking that I had gotten a defective unit, I returned it but found the exact same problem with the second. It didn't stick a little; it stuck so much that the "waffle" could only be extracted after a long soak.

This problem started after two or three uses with the first unit and on the first use on the second unit.

I tried everything, was extremely careful in following instructions to the "t" concerning lubrication and cleaning. NOTHING WORKED.

In my opinion, unless I got two very defective units, then this product has a sticking problem which surely the manufacturer knows about by now. Maybe they figure that disappointed customers simply stow them away and never make waffles again. Instead of cluttering my kitchen or a landfill, I was so mad I sent it back direct to the manufacturer complete with the stuck waffle. My $$$ lost for the shipping, product and time wasted. I will never buy a NordicWare product again and I will tell frieds to avoid the brand.

Was looking at replacing my waffler but mine is a older model that has the thermometer which is handy-knew when the burner needed to be turned down because the waffler was getting to hot! I would probably purchase another one if NordicWare still sold the deluxe ones but will wait for that time.

This is a fantastic Wok once properly seasoned. I initially seasoned mine 4 times (as suggested by the seller), but with lard instead of oil. The patine is now perfectly non-stick and almost bullet-proof.

Takes a bit of initial work, but this is now truely my most prized piece of cookware; even better than my stainless/copper italian pots.

The flavor that the pan contributes to the food is absolutely unbelievable. Furthermore, although the pan is quite "rough" looking, it's incredibly durable. My impression is that it's almost impossible to permanently damage this pan... You may have to re-season it, but it'll withstand just about anything. I'd honestly pay upwards of one (or two) hundred dollars for a pan as functional as this wok.
