I was very impressed with this iron for the first few shirts, but then it started to leave wet spots. The problem was persistent and serious enough that I ended up sending the iron back. I was very disappointed to find what may be just a quality control problem in such an expensive product. Others of course may be more lucky.

This is undoubtedly one of the finest steam irons I've ever used. The two levels of steam alone place it head and shoulders above most other irons.

It is light weight enough to make ironing work easy, but it is also still powerful.

Streamlined and attractive, it boasts automatic turnoff for safety.

If you're in the market for a new iron I'd recommend this Bosch beauty with no reservations.

I found a craft idea online to take any fabric you like, and make reuseable vinyl placemats using this product. I looked at 2 fabric stores and 3 craft stores, and they never heard of it - I am SO excited that AMAZON had it! It worked very well - and it was easy to use. I made the first placemat in 8 minutes, with vinyl on each side. Also, no problem/damage to the iron - I liked it! Ironing tip: if doing 2sided vinyl, be sure the paper is covering the edges or it will crinkly and potentially burn (they warn you appropriately on the package)
