I bought this waffle maker for my husband for Father's day. He absolutely loved it! You get waffles that look and taste great in less than 2 minutes. It is very simple to use and doesn't require a lot of countertop space. I would definitly recommend this waffle maker for anyone who is looking to purchase a belgian waffle maker.

This is the absolute best waffle maker that I have ever used. You can not mess up a waffle on this thing...it isn't possible. The measuring cup that it comes with is very helpful. If you use a waffle mix that has malt powder in it (like Gold Medal which you can get at Williams Sonoma) the waffles taste just as good as any you get at a restaurant.

I own similar cast iron pans by a French manufacturer that charges much more money for their items than I payed for this Lodge pan. My French skillets are not used very much any more. I like the shape and size of this particular one because of the deep sides. I thought of getting a chicken fryer by Lodge and decided on this big skillet instead.....it was a good choice. The generous depth of this pan was all I needed to pan fry chicken. I have sucessfully used it for other cooking too. The clean up is very easy.

After 20 years of Teflon, I went back to the skillet my grandfather used (and I helped! well, sort of -- as much as a 4-year-old can help). The pan is durable (no scraped Teflon), is great for carmelization (I toss my chopped veggies in there, brown them and then put the skillet directly in the oven to finish roasting them). The pan is durable and versatile. The tried-and-true is better than the modern. A classic!

I bought this waffle iron as a Christmas gift for my daughter and her fiance. They said it worked for one waffle, and then "died". I expected better from Hamilton Beach.

Bought this for my mom for her b-day - she wanted a huge one that you often see at hotels, but I thought this would be smaller and easier for her to use. She LOVES it. Says it makes the best waffles ever - light and crispy. So a big thumbs up from mom!

This is just a great waffle maker. My family loves waffles and this little waffle maker really meets our needs. I also had a problem with sticking but once I added a little more oil to the batter it has worked beautifully since. Waffle batter and pancake batter, as previously mentioned, should not be used interchangibly with this waffle maker. I just couldn't be more pleased with this product.

This converter and adaptor set is a great price, but you get what you pay for.... I was very happy with the product for the first few days of my recent trip to Europe. On the 5th day, however, I pulled out the voltage converter so that I could blow dry my hair, and I was dismayed to find the two prongs that plug into the wall had completely snapped off! Wet hair for the rest of the vacation. Don't buy this product.

This unit is not suitable for low current/wattage items. My wife plugged our cell phone charger into it...and that was the end of the cell phone. If you plan on charging devices, you probably will have the same reslts...buy something rated for 0 to 50 watts!

This is the first grill for the bbq that doesn't require hours of cleaning and scouring! That is is major factor--as other grills I have used (even the pricey ones) are frustratingly difficult to clean. The reason I didn't give this a 5 is because it is heavy--but possibly it has to be in order to be fully functional. A great purchase

My mom and I each bought one of the UNSEASONED griddle/grill items. I still have yet to season mine and I will soon. It took about 5 seasonings & several uses to get my moms up to "seasoned" standards but once it was good-it was FABULOUS! We have several Lodge pieces between us and we are never disappointed. They are hefty, strong pieces that can take scrubbing and heat. I never have problems maintaing heat and cooking is much easier with cast iron. I recently tried to cook dinner for my boyfriend on his electric stove w/ hard anodized pans and I was really frustrated. They over heated fast and cooked unevenly. If you are thinking about cast iron-DON'T-just get it-you won't be disappointed-plus you can get a mini work-out while you cook! :)

I needed a replacement for my Rowenta Pro iron and a friend recommended this model. Having had experience with a prior Black & Decker iron that met my sledgehammer after 6 days, I should have known better.

This model is no better. It leaks as did the other one. I don't know...maybe B&D irons don't like me, and I don't care for them either. If you're attempting to iron an article that can be damaged by water, I would NOT trust a B&D iron with it. These irons leak and spot too much. Seems they can't make a steam iron worth a darn.

It's also too light. How do you all iron with these feather weight things? Why can't somebody make a nice, HEAVY iron again? If I have to put my weight on it, then the iron isn't doing its job.

I gave this a 1 star only because I don't have an option for no or negative stars. I'm returning mine for another Rowenta.

I do a lot of ironing and have always had to use spray starch to get my clothes looking the way I want them to.
I bought this iron 2 months ago and have not picked up a can of spray starch since. It is a great iron!!
I love the steam feature, the auto off feature, the cord placement (doesn't drag over your clothes) and I really like the thing that you use to fill the water tank.
Again.... I say it is a GREAT iron!!

Although much lighter than my previous appliance, I found this unit to be easy to use and the indictor light accurate.

This waffle maker is the best I've found. I had this model before and it lasted 13 years. I've been looking for a replacement and was so happy to find it again. My family loves the waffles it makes.

My wedding-gift iron finally stopped steaming after 19 years and a little online research steered me to the T-Fal 1769 to replace it. Even though I don't iron often, the burst of steam and vertical steam features really drew me in after struggling with chamois work shirts and a linen jacket with cotton decorative panels. I wasted time running to 3 different stores to find it locally and finally ordered it from Amazon - no sales tax and free delivery! I just used it to RE-iron one of the chamois shirts and the jacket with ease. If ironing can ever be considered a pleasure, that was it.

Do beware of unplugging it when the thermostat light is on - causes a nasty little arc from the wall socket. Also, fill it up well if you're needing the burst of steam. If the water is too low, it doesn't happen. Oh, and be sure to take the label off the sole plate before heating it up - that scorched paper smell is annoying...

I hate to iron, but it's a necessary evil. I have one upstairs in the closet and one in the laundry room so touch-ups can be done anywhere. At this price, you can keep one handy in office and home, or up and downstairs. Great gift for weddings, too. Big thumbs up.

I love my new Rowenta Iron. It is slightly heavier than my previous Rowenta (which I had for 20 years), and I like that. It requires a bit less of my own pressure. The large water tank is great, as are the extra steam and spray features. Rowentas are great irons!

I just got though ironing 5 pairs of linen slacks. I was going to bring them to the dry cleaners to press becuase I couldn't get the wrinkles out to wear to work. I dreaded spending the money on that. I figured I would give the iron a shot. In one second I flet the difference, I had a beautiful professional looking crease, with one swipe on linen and with steam. I gave the pockets and xtra burst of steam, and I was done, like a handkerchief, I didn't want to stop, and I hate to iron. You can not go wrong with this item.

I love this iron!!! I bought it yesterday afternoon and my husband decided to try it out this morning. The next thing I knew, he had ironed ten of the shirts in his closet. He really likes the weight of the iron when it's full of water. Says he doesn't need to press down so hard to get a good crease. He even went so far as to iron one of my blouses to see how it worked on different fabrics. This is fabulous !

I was going to buy a Rowenta, but Consumer Reports recommended this one and I bought it. Much better price and I love the iron. I would like a larger water filler, but that is a minor issue. I am pleased.
