Bought a Eureak Atlantis Express to clean up my couch which had some stains. It didn't work right even before I even turned it on. I filled the clean water tank with water and put it back into the unit, exactly as directed in the instructions. It LEAKED water through the vents at the bottom for the motor. So I thought maybe I did something wrong, so I tried it again, and it leaked water through the motor vents again. Its like it is missing some extremely critical parts, which it probably is. I havn't even turned this piece of junk on and I gonna return it. Dont waste your time or money on this machine.

I have two small dogs that I can't keep off my sofa, so I really need this thing. OK, it's not perfect... it does have a bit of a leakage problem, and it's a little messy to use. Also, if you're expecting to extract all the water, you're going to be somewhat disappointed. Maybe my expectations were a little lower than some other reviewers because I've used a full-size 12 amp carpet cleaner (upholstery attachment), and it wasn't the greatest either - basically had the same kinds of problems. But, if you're willing to put in some elbow grease, this cleaner actually does a pretty good job. Keep in mind, you'll have to settle for some "post" drying time. I had previously bought a Dirt Devil Spot Scrubber, which I promptly returned - it had absolutely no suction power. I think this one is worth the $55 I spent on it.

I have 2 small children (22 months and 3 years old). I intentionally purchased this machine to help with potty training my now 3 year old son. This machine has helped clean urine off of the couch as well as being awesome at cleaning other messy things (i.e. vomit, chocolate milk stains, etc). I haven't had problems with leaking or any of the other problems mentioned in other reviews. I purchased mine from Costco.com for $44.99 and so far have decided that I have definitely gotten my money's worth. I just have no idea where I can get the multi-purpose cleaner solution from!! Mine came with 2 bottles of the solution when I purchased it, so if anyone knows where more of this stuff can be found please let me know!! :)

I bought this product thinking that for the price it would work wonders - boy was I wrong!!!! Sharper image claims that the steam option alone on the machine takes stains out of your carpet - you don't have to resort to carpet shampoos - what a joke!!! I have tried to get out an assortment of stains from my carpet, from dirt to wine, and I am disapointed every time! I have had cheaper steamers that did a better job then this product. The only thing that does work on this item is it's vacuum power.

If you're expecting the strength of a real steam cleaner in this little package, don't bother. It does an okay job of steaming things, but a pretty poor job of sucking up the wet mess you've just melted off your carpet. Not particularly strong, but easy to use.

This is a great vacuum! It is a bit on the heavy side, but it has some self-porpelled motion, which helps. It was afordable, and works great. I have a cat, and she leave hair everywhere, it's great to have a powerful vacuum that really cleans and is also easy to empty.

This proved to be a good investment despite some flaws. I use to have a dirt devil and a soon as I started to vacuum with the Bissell I knew it was of better quality. There are two flaws that I think about everytime I use the vacuum 1. I am a so much interested in the way my things look and the vacuum has faded letters and it is missing logo information. It makes it look like it is not a "real" bissell. That is just me, but I bet if someone would look at it they would not even notice the missing logos and the lettering that looks like it was stamped in the wrong place.
2. When I use the vacuum there is always a foul smell that comes out of it. It makes me think that if this was a used item the previous owner had pets and the odor is still penetrated.
Overall I do recommend this remanufactured product.

Love this vacuumm. It has great power and can take a beating.

I puchased the Dust Devil Easy Steamer less than one year ago. I have only used it 3 or 4 times and am now looking for a replacement. The unit started leaking during the second use and continues to leak from the clean water tank - leaving pools of water saturating the carpet. It also leaves carpet wet for at least a day. I am not very happy with this purchase and will do a little more research when I purchase a replacement.

I've used heavier, more expensive carpet cleaners in the past and was quite dubious when purchasing this lightweight, non-expensive model. Well, I'm sure glad I gave it a chance. I had called in a cleaning service and was quoted thousands of dollars to clean all of our carpets. With this cleaner I can do one floor a day (takes around one hour and 1 gallon/fill of cleaner) and the results are truly amazing. For heavier stains I went over a few times and most of the old stains are gone! The house smells and looks wonderful. The machine is easy to clean and empty and I'm always amazed at how much dirt it picks up. Only thing missing, I find, is an attachment for the stairs. other than that...I am a very satisfied customer..

Since this is so much easier to use than our previous carpet cleaner, we use it more often. It does a great job and is very
easy to store.

I'm pleased with the way it works. It picks up well and is easy to maintain. However, the main filter was scented. You have to wash the filter anyway instead of replacing it (very easy, very fast drying) and once I did that a couple of times the smell was gone. It is like an air-freshener, but I just don't like those scents.

We now own 2 of these and it works better than 5 other brands (all name brands and more expensive too) I tried before buying the original one of these. It is a little loud, but more than worth it for the way it picks up off of bare floors (both wood and vinyl floors). I vacuumed with it after using a bag vacuum on both bare floors and carpeted floors, and couldn't believe what it picked up that the other one left behind even though the floor looked and felt clean. It also has an extra long cord, which is nice to have and not replug in elsewhere while I'm cleaning.
Also, they have this model still at Walmart new for the same price as this remanufactured, but changed the model number & a couple things, one being that this one has 7 height adjustments including a bare floor setting, and the new one only has 5 and no setting says bare floor, which was important to us. The only other difference is the color, which I think is black now instead of blue.
We've also had no problem with any clogging from the filters, but I've also washed them out when they look dirty instead of waiting for the suggested time to clean them, so maybe that will help someone else also. They also sell replacement filters for it at Walmart, so if you don't want to wait for the dirty ones you washed to dry, you could get a spare set to have on hand, and it wouldn't cost but a few dollars. They are easy to clean, just use water then wait for them to dry before reinserting them in the vacuum.
I'm hoping it last a couple of years or more, but for $50, I wouldn't complain if I had to get a new one in another year, it works that great, and I'm pretty picky about how clean my floors are with having animals and their shedding. The rest of the house can be messy, but I have to have my floors clean!

I have had this machine about 6 months and i have had no problems. It actually picks up better than almost any vacuum that i have owned. I used it the first time to re-vacuum a floor that i had gone over with a bag vacuum.

It is an insult to pay over $50 for items that should come with the vacuum, especially at the price of this vacuum.
