Carpet Cleaners Reviews

This is more a question than a review. I love the Lysol Floor cleaner that I used to use with my Hoover Hardfloor cleaner when I had a house full of ceramic tile. I just bought a house with marble floors. I am wondering if I can still use the Floor cleaner and the Lysol. Anyone know???

First use brought great results for window cleaning and bath tile cleaning. Also used it on a wood floor full of scratches and imbedded soil results were also great and prepared floor for a new wax finish. My first complaint was the handle got quite hot so gloves were needed to use it without a burn also the hose became too hot to touch. The lever lock was also difficult to use and it was easier just to let the steam keep coming. It worked great for about three or four months with a fair amount of use for several jobs from windows to dirty auto engine and grimy spots on the garage floor when it abruptly quit
ejecting steam but leaked inside the main tank unit and the hose
became wet as well as hot but no steam ejected. I called the sales agent who said they no longer sold the unit and had no idea where to get a repair or buy parts. A google search found a source in China but no email or phone to call. The unit is still shown for sale from a few sources at nearly three times the price I paid ($49.50) but no one has parts. If I could buy a new hose and handle I would keep using this unit and just be careful about the hot handle and hose. If I need a whole new unit I would try the McCulloch Mega Steamer instead for more than double the price but a name that has a good reputation to stand behind what they make and sell.
