great for bare floors and carpet

We bought this vacuum about 4 weeks ago and it has been wonderful, especially on bare wood floors and our kitchen vinyl floor. We tried 4 others before this and none were as thorough about picking up items off the floor, even those that said they pick up nuts and bolts. Plus, with 7 height adjustments, it thoroughly cleans every floor type we have. The original one we bought wss missing an item and I searched for over a week before finding it online as we wanted this exact model after our experience with the 1st one we bought. It was cheaper at walmart but they stopped carrying it and brought in the new model that Bissell came out with to replace this.
