This is the worst vacuum I've ever wasted my money on! I have to clean the filter EVERY FEW MINUTES while vacuuming (that is not an exaggeration!). This vacuum just cannot handle pet hair at all, and using carpet powder is out of the question. Buying bags for my old vacuum is proving to be less of a hassle after using this 'bagless', useless vacuum.

usually amazon is the best price but in this case, you can get it about $20. cheaper elsewhere, Lowe's for example.

this vacuum came already put together!! great for a woman who is not a put together person. the first time i used it, i emtied the cup, and wow, was it ever full of dirt!!was easy to empty out, i think i will really enjoy this vacuum.

HOOVER HAS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THE BELTS STRETCHING OUT ON ALL THE SELF PROPELLED VACUUMS, BUT WILL DO NOTHING FOR CUSTOMERS STUCK WITH THEM! WE MUST REPLACE THE DRIVE AND PROPEL BELTS EVERY COUPLE OF MONTHS. REDICULOUS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Hey All I tried the new Baggless Hoover self propelled and It went right back to the store. This one is the best! I have two labs and it picks up all their hair, I couldnt ask for more!!!
Th carpet pile just lifted up and lookes brand new:) So go for it, it is surely worth the money. Oh and it glides on the lowest setting as if it is on ice:)

It was good to see Hoover finally use the same hose for both the main vacuum and the attachments. Powerful, easy to use. Our other Hoover was great when using the main vacuum, but had little sucking power when the attachments were used. A GREAT improvement. We are HAPPY with it!

I've always enjoyed the simple things in life. To me, simpler is better, especially when it comes to machines. And cars. The more stupid gadgets, the more likely they'll break.

This machine does what it's supposed to do. It CLEANS carpets. It does come with two attachments that are really four, which is cool. The suction is amazing...even when using the attachments. It does sometimes tip when you're stretching with the hose, but honestly I don't mind because I love the fact that it's lightweight and easily maneuvered around toys, furniture, sleeping dogs...YES. It's that quiet.

I own 3 dogs and a long haired cat, and the floors are feeling much softer and looking newer. I even use it on my kitchen floor with great results. It doesn't spew dirt and crumbs and dog hair everywhere like my old Hoover. And get this: the KIDS can use it very easily because even at their level it stays flat on the floor.

After extensive research I purchased this vaccuum knowing that Bissell was a great brand & I'd get great bang for my buck. It was trued for the first 2 months & then as time went on I lost suction until it quit on me all together. I returned it & exchanged it for the same model thinking perhaps that one was a lemon. I've had it now for 3 months & it's the same thing. The dirt goes into the 2 side compartments & all along the filter. It has to be cleanout out ( with your fingers digging out the dirt ) every time you do even a light vaccuum & the filters clog immediately. I've constantly had to wash them with is no small feat to get them clean. After 3 months of having this one I'm returning it for another brand. It has nice features so it's a shame that it doesn't perform better.

This is the best vacuum I have owned yet. Although only time will tell if the great suction will hold up.

My husband and I read the reviews on the Bissell 35951 CleanView Revolution Plus Upright Bagless Vacuum before our purchase and they are all true!!! It is a great light weight vacuum that works like a heavy weight! We are very pleased with our purchase.

I spend more time cleaning the filters on this vacuum than I do actually vacuuming. It is a piece of junk. It is definitely going into the yard sale, and I hope one of you who gave it a high rating stops by to purchase it. In fact --- I'd pay one of you to take it away.

Great suction, easy enough to push, filters are simple to clean, love the lift-off feature, but I just couldnt get beyond the traces of lead in the power cord. I'm sure it contains small traces, but hey, even small traces of lead is too much lead.

I really love this machine- I can carry it easily and it picks up really well- especially the pet hair.

I hate cleaning the dust cup filter but have been unsuccessful in finding the replacement. Closing the dust cup lid is also trickly. It took me a while to realize that you can close the lid from further to the right side of the sitck, which would not allow the locking of the cup.

Not really big enought for an entire house.

Pros
- Strong suction for a lightweight upright, 12 amps.
- Small form, great for a closet or a room corner.
- Inexpensive.
- Easily assembled.
- Brush roll for enhanced carpet cleaning, which other lightweight uprights lack.

Cons
- The air that gets sucked in gets blown out in the front of the vacuum - a bit disconcerting at first.

- Dustcup removeal took some getting used to
- Does such a good job that you may want to clean the filter after each time or two (I use a plastic fork).

This little vac has superb suction - really terrific for pet fur and small enough to get around everything in my RV. It is hard to push - wouldn't want to use it for a full-size house but terrific for small spaces.

AFTER 1 1/2 YEARS OF USING THIS MACHINE WE FOUND THAT IT HAD POOR SUCTION. DISPITE THE FACT THAT THE MACHINE'S FILTER CONSTANTLY NEEDS CLEANING. WE SHIPPED IT BACK TO THE DYSON PEOPLE WHO SAID WE NEVER CLEANED THE FILTER, WHICH WAS A FLAT OUT LIE. THEN THEY STATED THAT THE MOTOR HEAD WAS CRACKED PROBABLY DUE TO NOT CLEANING THE FILTER. THEY OFFERED TO FIX IT AND CHARGE US FOR IT EVEN THOUGH IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. I SAW MY WIFE CLEANING THIS THING BEFORE AND AFTER SHE USED IT, AND BELIEVE ME, SINCE I'M THE ONE WHO BOUGHT IT, I GOT THE EARFUL FROM HER EVERYTIME SHE PULLED THIS THING APART. IT STARTED OUT AS A GOOD VACUUM, BUT TURNED INTO JUNK WAY BEFORE IT'S TIME AND THE DYSON PEOPLE DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT. IT'S A VERY POOR WAY OF DOING BUSINESS AND I NO LONGER RECCOMEND THIS VACUUM TO ANYONE.

The absolute best vacuum ever, for suction, ease of emptying, and flexibility in reaching hard to reach places.


It took me a long time to decide to get the Dyson, because I already had a working bagless vacuum and because of the 400-500 dollar pricetag for a Dyson. However, since I bought a Dyson,I love this vacuum so much, there's no way I'll be lending this vacuum to anyone (I'll probably never see it again)

1. The suction on this vacuum is incredible.

2. Emptying this thing is so easy! Compared to the other bagless vacuums where you used a bag and had to pull out the bagless filter, and you had to shake the darn dirt everywhere just to empty it. The Dyson is clean, fast,and easy!

3. THe hose and extentsion on the Dyson is very convenient compared to other bagless vacuums. Stair cleaning is a breeze. And most amazing, you can vacuum under the bed so easily.

I can't tell you how happy I am with the Dyson. The only negative note would be that Dysons are on the heavy side.

This vacuum has great suction. I am amazed at what it is collecting from my carpet. The construction is very durable. The instructions are easy to follow.
