I was unsure if this vacuum would be right for me, as I needed a unit that'd reliably deal with my cat and dog and their propensity to deposit hair, dirt, and puke on my light tan carpet. Well, it's been over a year since I purchased it and I could be any happier. The canister is super easy to remove and dump. The power is just right as to get fine and course dirt and debris, and the multiple stages of filtration do a wonderful job of tackling the smallest particles of dander and dirt. If this one ever dies it'll be missed; and when it does I'm going to by the next closest model to it from Eureka that I can find. Darn neat perfect vacuum for my needs.

I have a large eat in kitchen with hard wood floors. I bought this product thinking it would make my cleaning so much easier but I was wrong! Not only does it leave dirty "puddles" on the floor if you stop moving it for a second but if you don't change the cleaning pad on the bottom every couple of minutes, just end up spreading more dirt than cleaning it. After using in a few times, I gave up when all it did was leave puddles and streaks of dirty water. Not worth it! Stick to your swifer!!

I received the Flip It as a gift and have been using it for approximately 2 months-it is absolute heaven!! All the flooring in my house is hard wood-I fill the "clean" tank once and put on a clean pad (just ONE, I have NEVER needed to change the pad in the midst of cleaning) and it cleans (and dries!) the WHOLE house without even filling up the "dirty" tank. Also, the company provided hard wood floor cleaner leaves a nice shine and soft feel to my floors afterwards.
I will concur with a previous review about the "dirty puddle" issue, but this only happens to me if I leave the unit stationary for more than five minutes. It is ALSO quite easily corrected by just sliding the unit over the "puddle" once you notice it. The Flip It vaccums it right up and dries the spot.
I do use this product about once a week, so it's quite possible that my floors never get filthy enough for the Flip It to just be spreading dirt around, I don't know. I DO know, that I have and would HIGHLY recommend the Flip It to any and everyone-it's a wonderful product and you can't beat the price! It has replaced my swiffer AND my windtunnel vacuum as the only thing I use to clean my floors.

I love this product. We have a child with very severe acid reflux who vomits quite often (several times daily at one point) while eating. I was tired of constantly mopping it up. I bought this product about a year or so ago and it has been a lifesaver. It is easy to use and I don't have to clean out the mop afterward. Clean up is pretty easy compared to using a mop and bucket. We don't use their company provided solution. We just buy any floor cleaner and it works fine. We have no use to flip it and use the other side.

Henry Ford said, "I'll sell a car for $25.00- just give me the parts business." Bissell took a lesson from this- the vaccuum was priced very attractively, and the only bags that fit- cost $...a piece! Brilliant! But I assure you, my next vaccuum will NOT be a Bissell.... by the way, did the other review read more like and advertisement? Think it might have been written by a Bissell employee?

$9.99 for 2 vacuum cleaner bags? Come on. They're in a 3-pack at best buy for $2.99.

I am NOT a compulsive cleaner (I'd rather do something with the family) so when I DO have the urge to vacuum and dust. I want it to have a lasting effect. This bissell and bag combo does the job and gives me more time with my family! I also like the fact that I can vacuum and vacuum on the same bag until it is completely full. You probably figured out that I don't like changing the bags any more than I like dusting. The annoying dust bunnies are kept at bay with this unit--that is why I feel the extra cost for the bags is well worth the investment. I highly recommend this Bissell vacuum bag.
