I'm very pleased with VAC SHACK. My order was promptly shipped and received. Packaging was very sturdy. I will order from them again.

My previous vacuum, a Eureka Boss, just wasn't getting my old shag carpeting clean enough. So after reading the reviews here, I decided to spring for this Bissell upright. It was quite a bit more than I had paid for the Eureka, but if I got the performance I expected it was worth it. Well, after figuring out how to assemble the thing, on my first use it sprayed dust and dirt all over itself - and the floor. The attachment hose does double duty as the route from the floor to the bag, and you have to REALLY jam the hose in tightly (beyond what I was able to do, and I'm not a weak person). In fact, in order to push the vacuum you have to have incredible upper body strength - I keep it on the High Carpet setting and still struggle by the end of my 12x16 living room. Due to the wheel width, the edge cleaning is virtually non-existent. The Turbo Brush attachment works wonders on pet hair covered upholstery, though. And it does do a decent cleaning job on my carpets, with a nice wide cleaning path. So if you want to build some major upper body strength, and don't care if the edges of your carpet get dusty, then this is the machine for you.

I bought this vaccuum after doing a lot of research and reading plenty of reviews. I must say all of my research paid off, this was a great buy. The name speaks for itself, PowerGlide, this vaccum glides right cross my carpet surface. I LOVE IT. I also must commend Amazon for the good delivery time.

I'm delighted with this vacuum cleaner. I recently got a cat and wanted to keep the pet hair under control. I thought I would have to spend at least twice as much money (probably more!) to get this much suction. It pushes just fine across the carpet (even on low setting) and seems to do a good job. The real benefits are the attachments. The hose has fantastic suction and they weren't kidding when they called it a turbo brush. I wouldn't use it on anything delicate, but it's great for regular upholstery. I used the dusting attachment on my lampshades and was impressed. I also wanted a bagged vacuum (less mess... which is the point of cleaning!), which seem to be harder to find these days. The downsides are that it's sorta hard to get the hose out of it's holder and it's a little heavy. But overall, I would definitely recommend this vacuum, especially if you're looking for good attachment suction. And only $80!!

Just received this item from Amazon. The filter does have a metal frame. The actual filter material looks the same as the Jet disposable filter. This makes me a little skeptical about being able to wash this thing multiple times. Doesn't come with any instructions so I guess you can just take a hose to it when it needs cleaning.

Jet says this filter is washable...guess you could, but the frame is cardboard. This is the standard filter that comes with the machine. They also sell a metal framed version which is washable, matter of fact, after blowing it out you can put it in the dishwasher...does a nice job. You can also buy furnace filters at the home center for a lot less money. I buy em in a 2 pack for a LOT less than the jet filter. They are not an exact fit, but you can cram em in. I have the washable filter, but I use the disposible ones when doing a major cleanup of the shop. Blow out all the nooks and cranny's with the air chuck and the dust collector running on high. When I finish I just throw away the disposibles and reinstall the metal framed one. The jet filters do a good job, but they are spendy. The price is why I gave em a 3 star rating.

I ordered this and got the nice metal framed version, not sure what happened to the other guy. It works good, even has an X brace on the back to keep the filter material from sagging.

This would be a perfect product if they included the step adapter for various tools. Charging another $17 for the small adapter is a little much, but otherwise this accessory makes a great shop vacuum fantastic.

I have an older model Porter Cable vacuum. (model #7810) After having the vacuum for a while, I liked it so much that I wanted to get an accessory kit so that I could do a few more things with it than just using it primarily as a dust collector for my sander. I bought the 78110 accessory kit about three months ago, and since then have been completely satisfied with it. The thing I like most about it is that it has metal extensions rather than just plastic extensions like many of the other competitors. The different brushes and wands have enabled me to use this for a ton of different applications ranging from vacuuming my car to cleaning up some of my furniture. Overall, this has been a great investment for me! Great job Porter Cable!

Literature says this hose adapts to 2 1/2". Well it doesn't. The large end of the hose measures 1 3/4" o.d.. I need to go looking for another adaptor. Not happy.

I bought the 39332 Vacuum hose with the 1" port to hook up to my Porter Cable Model 340 Palm Sander and to hook up to my Porter Cable Model 7812 (10 Gallon) Vacuum Cleaner. I bought the hose and vacuum cleaner at the same time. The hose fits very nicely on the palm sander. But for the life of me I cannot figure out how it hooks up to the vacuum cleaner. Not one of the diameters fits properly anywhere.

I discovered that the vacuum cleaner comes with a 1" adapter (for just what I wanted to do). No where in the online literature is there any mention of a 1" adapter I spent $22 for nothing.

I love the way PC says it fits "standard" 1.5" fittings. Anyway, I bought a Shop Vac 1-1/4" extension wand for about $5. If you cut off the last couple inches of the wide end of the wand, it makes a perfect bushing for this hose. I will probably glue it permanently into the 1.5" end of the hose and then it will fit the truly standard 1.25" fittings.

The hose does a good job of what it is supposed to do. PC just needs to get away from these non-standard dimensions. Did somebody in marketing think this would force people to buy PC vacs?

I brought 1 of these and I am buying second one for my road trip. I didn't get Mr Bento because this one is bigger. Company's lunch cost about 7-8 bucks. I use this for 2 weeks, it already pay me back. Usually every morning I fill them up and microwaved the food. Use hot sink water to heated it then dump the water. Then put the food inside and at lunch time food are hot like just come out of the microwave oven. Sometime I didn't have time pour hot water in in in the morning but the hot food I put inside still stay hot at lunch time. I normally carry it in my briefcase, I don't know how they made it fit perfectly so small. I normally leave it vertically in my car on the passenger seat, once I left it horzontallly but it only leaks couple drops of liquid from top container, not big deal! The middle container is rice and the bottom is sealed tight, no leak at all. I brought anther one for my dad. I'm buying 2nd one for myself since I normally drive from chicago to michigan once a month. This will save me lot of $ at MacDonald or any other fast food place alone the road. Hot food on the road! save$! I love it!

I had seen my Japanese coworkers carry this thing to work. It's a great lunch bag! Beats brown bagging, because hot foods stay hot, and cold foods stay cold. I finally bought one because of the ease of use, didn't want to keep paying $$$ for hot lunches, and I can always bring my favorite foods. The bottom container is the only leakproof container. (That is my only gripe.) I usually put soup in here. The other containers will hold things without sauces very well. It's great because it allows for a large variety of foods (better nutrition). I have used bento lunch boxes since I was kid, and this is the best for adults. I like asian food, and this type of lunch box accomodates the best.

If you want to fill hot food, then pour in hot water in the containers for 10 minutes, let it get warm. Pour out the water, dry. Then fill. If you want ice cold food, put in freezer for 10 minutes, then put food in.

They also make bigger versions for larger appetites and another smaller one for small appetites. They really do stay hot. Once I had to take a very late lunch, I packed it at 7am, and at 2:30pm the food was still hot. No more waiting in line to microwave your lunch !!!
