I am not sure if this is standard, but this 4" hose does not fit on my 4" diameter dust collector (Delta 50-830). The 4"diameter refers to the outer diamter, which is exactly the same as the 4" fittings on my machines and dust collector. The hose is reasonable quality (not as good as what came with the Delta machine), but seems as though it will not accordion up with suction. I guess I will have to get some quick disconnect fittings to try it out.

After reading the two previous reviews, I didn't know what to expect. I just purchased a Delta 50-850 Dust Collector from Tyler Tools and the Woodstock Int'l 4" x 20' Hose and several fittings from Highland Hardware. Both have excellent customer service. The Woodstock hose took me about 20 seconds to slide over the new Delta inlet fitting. It also fit over all the other new 4" fittings. The fit is very snug, and given a choice, I wouldn't change a thing. Over time the material will probably stretch slightly. I compared the Woodstock 4" hose with the Delta 4" hose section that came with the Delta 50-850. The Delta piece took me over a minute to install and is a little tricky. The Woodstock hose wall thickness is slightly less than the wall thickness of the Delta, yet the effort required to compress the two is about the same. The Delta hose has a hefty rubbery feel and the Woodstock hose has a plastic outer spiral around vinyl with a feel similar to Shop Vac hose. In use, I couldn't tell tell the difference between the two. With the clear hose I could see the stuff flying through which was about 5 minutes of good, clean fun. On the inside, the Woodstock inner wall has slightly less intrusion of the spiral wire which should yield slightly less obstruction opportunity. Bottom Line: I would choose the half as expensive Woodstock hose over the better Delta hose, as both are more than capable of performing the task of sucking.

This hose fits on the 4" inlets to my HF DC, Rikon BS and DW735 planer. I don't know what the other poster was complaining about (unless they have changed hose diameter). Quality hose, pretty thick wall, very happy with it. I originally ordered the Jet 4" (much more expensive at twice the price), but it has been backordered by amazon for 6 weeks now.

I got this filter along with some fine dust bags to use in my shop vac. This combination eliminates any dust at all from the exhaust keeping the air very clean. I use the Shop Vac with my router, biscuit joiner, table saw, and miter saw and the air in my shop stays very clean.
Do some research on the health hazards of fine dust and you will want to add this to your shop vac!

This product has solved a big problem for me. Cleaning my pellet stove with my Shop Vac has been a pain for years because no matter how forcefully I pressed the keeper ring over the paper/foam filter, at random times the ring would slip off the filters and fine ash would spray into the room. I learned to drape the vac with a big wet towel, and that helped ease the damage.

I decided to buy a better Shop Vac. But I discovered that there are better filters for every Shop Vac. And this one works! I didn't expect it to fit my 15 year old vac, but as it says on the package: "Fits all Shop Vacs." It fits perfectly, and there is zero concern about it slipping off.

It's easy to clean (outside, though - flying dust!) and my vac's suction is much better than it had been with the old filters. Small joys can be best!

This is a winner. I use my vac hard and this filter keeps the dust in the vac just like it should. Great buy for us

I LOVE IT. MY DAUGHTERS (AGES 9 & 10 ) RECEIVED ONE OF THESE FOR CHRISTMAS AND USE IT ALL THE TIME. IT REALLY WORKS GREAT. THEY VACUUM THEIR ROOM AND THEIR YOUNGER BROTHER'S ROOM ALL THE TIME. I PURCHASED THIS ONE FOR MY NIECE (AGE 6) AND AM SURE SHE AND HER MOTHER WILL LOVE IT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VACUUM.

This vacuum works great. My daughter loves to use it whenever mom is vacuuming. It works so well that we have found ourselves grabing this vacuum for small spills rather than the house vacuum.

This is one of the best items I have purchased for my daughter! The charge lasts plenty of time for her attention span. She loves to help mommy around the house, and it really works and pick up quite a bit of dirt! She is able to vacuum up small messes and do in-between vacuums to help me with house work. It teaches her about doing chores, but she has fun at the same time. She loves being able to vacuum her own room too!! We absolutely love it!

I really, really wanted to love my FloorMate, but it simply does not do the good job it promises. It works ok as a vacuum, but it is very big, heavy, and EXTREMELY loud.

I wanted to use it to clean my kitchen floor, but it takes forever to try to get it to "scrub" any dirt or food off of the floor, and it often just can't do it. It takes far less time to use a mop and bucket, and the floor will look much nicer in the end if you do.

Overall, it is an extremely disappointing purchase.

cleans fine but it doesnt suck up the water likes its supposed to. All it does is push the dirty water around the floor so I end up on my knees with paper towels cleaning up puddles.
Hey at least it pools it for me.....but definetly not worth the money for that!

I compared prices for this product and found the pricing at Amazon.com to be extremely lower than elsewhere. I received the product in a short time and was extremely pleased with the product. I would highly recommend this product to others and have already done so to family members.

I paid over [...] for this thing. I bought it for my mom who was having a terrible time keeping hers working. Went in one day and found her trying to vacuum with the old broken down one. She told me she didn't mean to hurt my feelings, but the Whirlwind was just to heavy for her to push around. I brought it home for myself and if I had written this review the first day would have given it 5+ stars. It is heavy, but that didn't bother me. It was unreal what this thing got out of what was near new carpet. About two weeks later, the filters clogged. Tried cleaning, but figured out real quick it would take new ones. It cost [...] to replace the two filters! Within a couple of months time it was clogging again. When the filters are clogged at all it picks up nothing. We have no pets in our home or anything that would be to [...] a vac. It is awesome with new filters, but I can't pay [...] a month maintenance on a vac! I wish I had my [...] Dirt Devil back that I donated to charity when I still thought this thing was wonderful! My advise is if you can afford the upkeep on this thing just hire someone to keep your floors clean!

This is an okay vacuum cleaner, but there are some design flaws. I'm now wary about bagless ones 'cause they are messy and if you don't close them properly dust can leak and spray everywhere. Also when cleaning area rugs with the admustment on high, the cleaner still grabs the edges of rugs and as shredded some. I have to make sure I avoid them and then take out the hose manually in order to clean the edges of the rugs. There must be better designed vacuums for the price.

This vacuum has excellent suction and easy manuvering!

I would never store any clothing for a long period of time in plastic. Fabrics need to breathe.

I order new space bags every month & I'm still finding new uses for them. I have a major problem with dust and these seem to keep everything I place in them clean. Great for storing clothing by seasons. I just shove them under a bed. I use them when I'm packing. I truly can get more in than w/o them. Haven't seemed to have a problem with the "zipper" releasing the vacumn. However,once I have packed, who cares? I close my suit case and go.
