I have to say that vacuuming is one of my least favorite things to do. However, I have a dog and need to be able to pick up dog hair off of wood floors and rugs. This vacuum works wonders on wood floors and will pick up anything quickly. On the two rugs we have it works very well on the very tightly woven one but barely works on the thicker one. I would not recommend this vacuum for thick rugs or carpets but highly recommend it for wood floors or low rugs. It is also easy to empty.

Well besides nice to look at it works so great and it's quiet..I could have it always charging without worrying about burning out due to over charging!! everything is right there when you do the floors or rugs or the corners & sofas with the handheld attachment which you could use to do the car rugs and seats!!

This is the handiest vacuum I've ever owned. I highly recommend this as a second floor cleaner. Throw away your dirt devil it has it covered.

As the subject would say, the thing is very light. Easy to carry around and do the chores. It's averagley noisy, doesn't create a panic while it's in operations.

A minor drawback (OF COURSE) is that at such a low price, you do not get much sucking power out of it. It is recommended for light use only. I bought this because I did not require a vacuum cleaner for daily heavy use. This one just acts as a cleaner for visible small dirt and trash. I do not expect it to clean too deep.

This easy to store and use Bissell is absolutely great for daily (or whenever needed) clean up of my hardwood floors.

I love my SteamVac, and use it often. It saves a lot of money over professional cleaning, and I can clean when I have time, rather than waiting for the carpets to be cleaned when a professional cleaning job has been arranged. It can't be beat for quality and convenience. It's also reasonably priced: less than one or two professional cleanings if you have a large house and a lot of areas, so it pays for itself VERY quickly, especially if you have pets or high traffic areas. I HIGHLY recommend it.

The 8x11.5" quart bags are more convenient to use, but I figured the 8" x 22' rolls would be more cost-effective. As it turns out, the rolls (at $18.69 for 44 bags' worth - assuming a foot per use) are slightly more expensive than the bags (at $18 for 48), so you might as well get the bags. As for being able to use more or less as needed, I've found that I can re-seal or re-use the bags, thus leaving me an assortment of available sizes when I've used their previous contents. It is occasionally useful to have larger sizes, so I would recommend purchasing the bags in the quart size & the rolls in the larger 11" x 18' to give a wide range of useful applications.

The basic concept appears sound. Smaller foods need smaller width bags. However, in practice we rarely use the 8 inch width. There are a few things that fit better in the 8 inch width, but considering that almost everything that we routinely use in the kitchen will fit in the 11 inch width, we tend to use that width most of the time.

There is also discussion regarding bags versus rolls. I have used the bags and they are fine. The one advantage the rolls have is that you can custom fit them to things that will not fit into the bags. In some cases, the bags we have are too big, and then we either waste space in a smaller bag, or go back to the roll again.

Though we have a small supply of bags, I suspect that once the bags run out we will probably stick with the rolls, and we will probably stay with the 11 inch width. Choice is such a great thing!

Also consider the canisters that are available to go with any FoodSaver that has an accessory port.

Considering how much these are in the store, I was thrilled to get such a great price at Amazon!

I bought this same mug 12 years ago and used it everyday since. Well as you can only imagine it was dented, bruised and the plastic base had even been melted off in a freak encounter with a cook top! Yet it kept my coffee just as warm as day one. I decided it was time to place ol' faithful on display and get a new one for my next 12 year caffeine induced treks across the great lands (or at least to the office everyday). You must buy this mug and never even look at another...this is all you need, period.

It performs as advertised - leak proof and keeps beverages hot/cold for hours. Very good quality mug that will last a long time. Well worth the $$.

We used this cleaner in our living room with our Hoover steamer, after about a week of trying to housebreak our new puppy. There were accident stains all over the place. It didn't work that well, we did not see a difference between this and the regular hoover cleaner. The stains wouldn't come out. After giving up we went out and bought a gallon of Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover, which worked wonders. If you really have some serious pet stains then I would recommend using the Nature's Miracle, even if you don't have pet stains the Nature's Miracle cleans non-pet stained carpet better than the Hoover solution as well. The carpet came out looking brand new. This product is a bit too mild to work on tough stains.

The cleaning was about average. The smell was so-so, I found other cleaning solutions that smelled much better. And as far as the dog returning to the spot...he still did. Over and over again.

We get stains from food, drooling, sometimes one of our three goldens throws up, and, more rarely, when they have an accident.

The shampoo has a very nice smell. For older, more resistent, stains, I pre-treat with shampoo/water and then clean the carpet.

Works very well. We use it with the Hoover SteamVac Dual V
which I would also recommend.

This is a good light-duty vacuum. Convenience is the best feature. Being cordless, it can be used anywhere, and it's very lightweight

I am pretty pleased with this cordless vac. The power is better than most.

I only have 2 minor annoyances:
(1) The little rollers which glide the vacuum make a lot of noise.
(2) The Vacuum hanger does not automatically charge. If you use the hanger...you also have to retrieve and plug in the cord to charge. IT seems like it would have been easy to automatically charge when you hang the vacuum (like most Vacuums).

Overall... I am pleased with this product....just minor improvements would have made it even better.

I ordered this replacement battery through Amazon.com recently. The shipment arrived in a timely manner. The shipping sleeve that it came in was slightly roughed up, but there's no damage whatsover to the batttery itself. There is no installation instruction with the battery, however it really is one of the simpleist battery change-outs going, so no problem there.
It came with some battery charge. As expected it did not run too long on that charge. A full charge (I do not have a Roomba quick-charger) the Roomba ran a bit longer. I must admit that the short run concerned me a little. However, I've gone through two more charging cycles and the battery life extends noticeably. All in all I'm please with the purchase and delivery service.
I wouldn't mind if the battery were somewhat less expensive though.
I have an earlier model (gray) Roomba which does a very good job.

Roomba's web store sells it for $59.99, so my guess is that's the proper list price. Found it for $20 less on ecost.com.

This battery pops right in to the Roomba--no tools or disassembly required to install it. The improvement in charge life is noteworthy over the battery that came with the Roomba at the time of purchase. I can now use the Roomba to clean 3 rooms on a charge instead of one. Totally pleased with my purchase!

I had a very noisy and heavy Dirt Devil that I replaced with this upright. It works great. It's lightweight and works well both on carpet and my hardwood floors.
I like the fact that the head is flexible so it's easy to maneuveur. Great buy!

This vac does it all, on a small level and a larger level it has no problems. It goes around corners and gets the edges. Very versatile and easy to handle. Great Buy!

The vacuum is very powerful, I can't believe how much dirt it picks up each time I use it, I'm amazed at how clean my floors look. The only downside for me is that it is not as lightweight as I expected it to be but overall, I'm still very happy with the product.

we gave our older hoover canister to our daughter who loves it just as much as we love the new one. i like the fact that the wand hooks onto the unit and is easy to put away. and the cord retracts which is another plus. the power is really good and havent found anything it wont clean.

If you like cannister vacuum cleaners w/ bags, I recommend the Hoover S3639. I have used similar cannisters over the last 15 years, and besides doing a good job, this one has the advantages of looking great, having an extra small power brush for steps, and a fantastic price thru Amazon. Also, it was delivered to my door w/o shipping costs!
It is easy to carry, has a good set of tools, and a powered brush w/ a light to vacuum rugs.
Once the dirt bag is full, you throw it away--less work than bagless vacs.
