this was not a good hoover vacuum. it was very hard to use.

This is an average vacuum at a decent price. But it is impossible to find replacement bags. I wish I'd bought a different machine, as I can't use this one at all now, until bags become available.

Just recieved the S3590 and was very pleased.. This tracks well and is easy to move about the house. The insulation is done well and noise is sufficently damped. A light on the power head is nice and the suction is great. I shopped vacuums at 3 times the price and was not impressed. Only negative is the accessory holder is awkward and the dusting brush is a little small. Buy this product.

This is by far the worst vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. First of all we have pets and the hair gets all tangled up in between the two rollers everytime I use it. Then I have to get scissors to cut it out. Also the bag for this vacuum is bigger than the canister it fits in. Therefore the bag fills very very fast. When you pull the bag out of the canister to throw it away there is plenty of room left in the bag. So the canister will only allow it to fill to its canister size. There goes $200. down the drain. I would not recommend this product to anyone!

I bought this vacuum cleaner as it was advertised as beltless.. This was really neat as long as the warranty lasted.. Two months after my warranty( 1 year) expired, the brushes stopped spinning. I took it in for repair.. and the bill :-
1)$70 for a gearbox ( the wonderful technology behind beltless)
2)$40 for labor....
Total without taxes :- $110.. Isn't that wonderful!!!

So, in short, this is a great vacuum till it breaks down.

I have to say this is a pretty good vacuum, and I would watch out what reviews you read on this web-site. Some of them are good, but some of them are not about this particular vacuum. For instance there is one that says it doesn't have a dirt indicator light, and it does. There is one that says they have had it a year, but from what I understand it is a fairly new vacuum. Sears has only carried it for around a month, and consumer reports don't even have it listed yet. Here are some of the things that I have noticed, and I have had it about a month, but I vacuum every day.
Cons:
There is a greasy residue on the compartments when you pull them out, but you can easily clean it off with a wet towel
You have to watch out that you don't let the filter when you are using the bagless canister that it isn't totally covered in between the two halves. If it gets totally covered, even if the canister doesn't have much in it, it will overheat.
When we tried to use the bag canister we found out that it wasn't sealed against the vacuum properly, but we took it back to the store and got a replacement.

Pros:
It has great suction. We have a lot of pet hair because we have two inside Husky's (we live in Texas so its hot outside.) and a cat. It gets up a ton of hair. We vacuum every day and you would not believe how much it picks up. Our old vacuum didn't get up near that much. You have to make sure to keep the filter clean though so the suction stays constant.
The attachments are easily accessible and they clean our furniture wonderfully.
It has an indicator to tell you when the carpet is clean. (This really helps if you every have your husband help you vacuum! That way he knows it's clean!)
My husband and I both have bad allergies and it filters a lot of stuff out with the filters.

I would recommend this vacuum to anyone that doesn't want to spend a ton of money for a really expensive vacuum, and not just a cheap vacuum. This is a good middle type vacuum, and a great buy for the features, and the performance.

Keep reading the instructions, follow them, then put this thing in the trash!! Drop the price over & over. Don't buy this at whatever price they advertise!!! I'm overseas so sending it back ain't cheap so do yourselves a favor; BUY ANOTHER BRAND!!!

If I could give this thing a negative number, I would. I just threw away 2 large bags of brown sugar because, after I had thrown away the bags the sugar came in, I could not get the Z845 to work. What a mess! I had brown sugar all over that part of my kitchen.

On a couple of occasions the sealer has worked without creating a vacuum. This time it appeared to be trying unsuccessfully to pull all the air out of the bag, but the bag never sealed.

I have watched the video several times and have read and re-read the instructions. At first I thought I was not operating it correctly, but now I believe the Foodsaver is the problem. The first time I used it, to seal a quantity of chicken for the freezer, it worked beautifully. It hasn't worked right since then.

Another problem is that it wastes an amazing amount of plastic material. Is it possible this thing was invented for the purpose of selling refills, rather than to work as a sealer?

Our family isn't into gadgets, but this appliance certainly earns its keep in our house! It performs like a charm and offers convenient features without all the fancy (and costly) bells and whistles. Now I know why this model was highly rated in a popular consumer magazine.

I was lucky enough to purchase this model with the promotional free hand-held appliance. Although I had no use for it, I wrapped it up along with a set of FoodSaver bottle stoppers and gave it to one of my friends who is a true wine lover. It's the same hand-held appliance as the $40 black WineSaver, only it's white. What a great deal!

And yes, those bags and rolls can get relatively expensive if you choose to dispose of them after one use. We don't. We simply wash them in the dishwasher and reuse them over and over again.

This is a true winner!

I am on Amazon.com today to look for a new vacuume!!! About 3 months ago I bought the Eureka 972A canister vacuume...and it's the worst thing ever. I have wood floors and thought that it may work good....but it scrach my floors. Then I thoght I could use it on my ruggs but that does not work either bec it just dont have any suction power. It may seem like a good price....but save your $50 becuse it wount do any good! I whish that I would have spent a little more money to begin with, and gotten a vacuum that actually works!!!!

Received my Eureka 972A today. Was impressed as soon as I took it out of the box. The quality was more than I expected. Worked great on my floor and small rug. I was also pleased with the speed in which I got it. Two days!!!

This vacuum is powerful (11 amps) & convenient (small & lightweight with a retractable power cord). It is fantastic on bare floors, which is why I bought it. At $60 (and no shipping) it was a great buy. If I had to change anything, I would make the power cord longer and the on-board tools larger. I would purchase this again in a heartbeat.

We live in a brownstone with rental units, the rug gets real dirty. Recently, our boiler was changed and thirty years of rust and oil went out with the old parts. Some of that got on our rug. This product really helped bring the rug back to good looking condition. We used it in conjunction with the Bissell Carpet cleaner in the blue bottle, (kitchen), both products together did the job.
Uncle Joe's did an extra good job of delivery, even though I was out of town for a few days, the package was waiting for me on my return.

We got rid of our Kirby one day before purchasing the Dirt Devil Outlast. Not only is this one quieter than the Kirby, it picked up more than a cup of dust on our carpet (approx. 1,200 sq ft worth) that the Kirby left behind. Having the hose attachments stored right there on the machine makes them easy to find, too! Very impressive for the price.
