I just ordered this product yesterday and after looking around I see this is for a 1 1/2" connection. The ad does not say that so I wrongly assumed it was what I needed. What I needed was the 300N kit.
For whatever reason Amazon will not let me cancel or change the order.
I now have to contact Mr.Nozzle and hope I can get it changed before it ships.

Amazon has good prices but the service they provide is terrible.
I will pay a little more somewhere else but I will make sure I can call and get things right if a mistake is made on my part or their's.

the mr nozzle crush proof hose is a great addition to your shop-vac. It fit perfectly, and I really like the 12 foot hose, I can now park my shop-vac at one door and vacuum my entire crew-cab pickup with no problem.

This is an excellent hose. It's very flexible and the long length means you don't have to drag the vac around as much. BEWARE...the fitting end of the hose is 1-1/2", not the standard 1-1/4". The fittings that came with your shop vac probably won't fit! Don't buy Mr. Nozzle's brush or extension tubes thinking that they will fit Mr. Nozzle hose. They don't! That's right, some of the fittings they sell don't fit their own hose. If you want to use your existing 1-1/4" fittings, buy the Mr. Nozzle 1-1/2" to 1-1/4" adapter (part #17). The hose by itself is 5 stars, but the #@!%$ goofy size makes it only 3 stars.

This is a nice simple piece of critical equipment. If it didn't work properly, it could cause a lot of hassle (air gaps / hoses coming off). The two wires fit easily over the end of the hose and seated snuggly on each side of the hose groove and then clamped up nice with just a phillips screwdriver. The wires strattle the ribbing on the hose, creating a nice tight fit. I put on quite a few of these wire clamps without one problem, air leak or lose hose.

I wish I could say the same for the steel band clamps. I tried them first, and stripped more than I put on. Go with the wire clamps, and do it right the first time!

I didn't figure that there was much of a differnce between hose clamps. I used both - steel band clamps and wire band clamps- with my ribbed hose for dust collection. The wire band clamps were easier to put on, held better, seated well, and stayed on.

HOOVER HAS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THE BELTS STRETCHING OUT ON ALL THE SELF PROPELLED VACUUMS, BUT WILL DO NOTHING FOR CUSTOMERS STUCK WITH THEM! WE MUST REPLACE THE DRIVE AND PROPEL BELTS EVERY COUPLE OF MONTHS. REDICULOUS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Hey All I tried the new Baggless Hoover self propelled and It went right back to the store. This one is the best! I have two labs and it picks up all their hair, I couldnt ask for more!!!
Th carpet pile just lifted up and lookes brand new:) So go for it, it is surely worth the money. Oh and it glides on the lowest setting as if it is on ice:)

It was good to see Hoover finally use the same hose for both the main vacuum and the attachments. Powerful, easy to use. Our other Hoover was great when using the main vacuum, but had little sucking power when the attachments were used. A GREAT improvement. We are HAPPY with it!

It turns out Bosch makes both vacuums that need bags and vacuums that don't. The bags are very expensive, so it makes sense to buy the vacuum that doesn't require this constant, expensive purchase.

I hate cleaning the dust cup filter but have been unsuccessful in finding the replacement. Closing the dust cup lid is also trickly. It took me a while to realize that you can close the lid from further to the right side of the sitck, which would not allow the locking of the cup.

Not really big enought for an entire house.

Pros
- Strong suction for a lightweight upright, 12 amps.
- Small form, great for a closet or a room corner.
- Inexpensive.
- Easily assembled.
- Brush roll for enhanced carpet cleaning, which other lightweight uprights lack.

Cons
- The air that gets sucked in gets blown out in the front of the vacuum - a bit disconcerting at first.

- Dustcup removeal took some getting used to
- Does such a good job that you may want to clean the filter after each time or two (I use a plastic fork).

This little vac has superb suction - really terrific for pet fur and small enough to get around everything in my RV. It is hard to push - wouldn't want to use it for a full-size house but terrific for small spaces.
