I purchased this vacuum about a year ago and paid just under $100.00. This also included an additional smaller portable vacuum(The boss bagless).

The Contour Upright works very well on rugs and has powerful suction. The addition of the spin duster is a nice feature to have when you need to do some quick dusting in tight spots or corners of ceilings. The one drawback of using the attachment is the whole assembly tends to come loose(easy to tighten) and most times when you need to remove the hose to do spot cleaning your hand will scrape against this tight area (design flaw) trying to pull out the hose.

The extra vacuum that was included is also great for small cleanups on floors - it came with 2 attachments (one for floors and one crevice tool) it has an adjustable arm so its comfortable like an upright and could be hung on a wall or in a closet.

All in all, very good vacuum and never had a problem with the Eureka brand.

PRO:
- Light
- Modern looking
- It actually has decent vacuuming power
- The spinning 10" brush works extremely well (though unwieldy) in cleaning fine cat's hair in furniture fabric
CON:
- Short cord
- The main attachment (with 10" brush de-activated to clean floors) performs adequately on opened hardwood floors but poorly in the corners due to the bulk of its size.
- The main attachment (with 10" brush activated to clean carpets) performs poorly on medium height carpet because the air-driven brush does not protrude much beyond the attachment's plastic housing.
- The wand's sections kept getting detach especially when vacuuming on carpet
- The tool holder sometimes gets in the way when vacuuming under the sofa or cabinet
SOLUTION:
- I should have returned the darn thing but decided otherwise because of its cat's hair removal capability - which is WAY better than the heavy Sears' canister and its many attachments
- For Bare Floors: Use the Sears' 6" floor attachment (since both Sanyo wand and Sears' attachment have the same inner diameter, I had to go to Home Depot to find a plastic pipe to make a coupling section)
- For Carpets: Use the heavy Sears canister!
- Or maybe I would just get rid of both Sanyo vacuum and the cat

For the money (paid $80) this is a high quality product: modern design with decent suscion power, powerbrush, compact, quality product. Easy and convenient to use in a smaller place or as a second vacuum cleaner. It uses reusable bags if you do not want to invest in (pricey) paper bags. Thumbs up to Sanyo. Buy with confidence.

It does everything as needed. This is most likely to be the secondary vacuum at home. The first one usually is the heavy duty one (heavy machine as well). This one will be perfect for light duty job, clean under the bed or anywhere with limited access.

I purchased 2 of these gems. Neither of them worked worth a hoot. I would not recommend it for a nickle. When I first got it, I open one and tried it. It worked half way. I tried to use it several times and it never did work like I expected. The second one was no better. It simply does not work well at all.
I tried not to give it any stars but was forced to give it one to get this posted.

I've owned a couple of these over the past ten years, and I absolutely LOVE this tool. It takes a bit of skill at first to learn how to use it appropriately for different types of plastic (metallic potato chip bags, vs clear pretzel bags, vs flimsy sandwich bags). But once you know how to use it --- and it only takes a few minutes of testing to really get the feel of how it works on various items --- it'll work over and over and over again.

The Euro Sealer seals plastic reliably, cleanly, easily, heats up very quickly (in about 3 seconds!) and stores well. This product has saved me a great deal of money in preventing wasted food over the years. Those "chip clip" things don't seal air out, but this does. It's a MUST for any humid environment!

I think the first reviewer must've not taken the time to learn how to use the product and understand the appropriate pressure and speed needed for different materials. If you just jump right into it without ever learning how to use it properly, the sealer will either melt the plastic (and burn it onto the sealer itself), or will miss sealing parts. This is also stated in the instructions.

I love that you can use it as battery operated, or A/C. I may have had to send away for the A/C adapter, or it may have originally been offered with the product; I don't recall which, but I use it both with A/C or battery, depending where I am. I take this with me while traveling.

Another cool feature is the slide out bag opener. It's similar to a letter opener, in that it's just a blade with plastic guides around it to prevent your fingers from getting in, but no more opening a bag of beans or cake mix or chips only to have the contents fly up and into your face when you finally are able to rip it open. Quick, easy and handy.

This is also great for crafts. I've used it for sealing up small items for sale on eBay, even creating my own bags for beads, just from using larger pieces of leftover grocery store bags.

I keep the Euro Sealer by my stove at all times and use it nearly every day.

The ONLY down side is that after thousands of uses, the protective nylon fabric strip can become dislodged. I've only had to replace the item once in many years. For how inexpensive this is, how often I use it, and how much money it saves me in NON-wasted food, this is a very minor point.

OVERALL, an excellent product that should be in every kitchen.

Don't know what the reviewer before me was doing with it, this is a great product! In fact, I am buying several for stocking stuffers. I have recommended this product to my friends and they think it's great too. It keeps chip bags and pasta bags airtight which prevents spills and keeps the contents fresh. The fact that the built in magnet lets you store it on the fridge is a convenient plus. Buy it.

I bought this mug based on a Consumer magazine's high rating concerning how long it keeps coffee warm. It does indeed keep
it warm, but you end up with hot coffee all over your shirt. The design looks nice, but its fine rim with single narrow o-ring is almost impossible to seat properly to avoid leaking. I'm going to get a replacement from Bodum, but it looks more like a design flaw than a defective unit.

I liked the mug's look, feel, & size. Then I took a drink of java from this mug... I never could get a lip lock on this mug. The rim is very thin & very wide. It would always spill a couple of drops on my shirt. Nissan mugs have what I call a "lip ledge" that prevents the "dribble" effect to which the Bodum is prone. Nissan mugs also have a much smaller diameter rim which also makes drinking from them less hazardous to my white shirts.

WORK AS WELL AS THE BODUM I HAVE. I DO NOT HAVE ANY SPILL OR LEAK PROBLEMS. THIS MUG FITS INTO MY CAR & MY WIFE'S CAR WITHOUT
ANY PROBLEMS. I USE IT FOR COLD DRINKS AS WELL AS HOT & IT KEEPS THEM THAT WAY FOR A LONG, LONG TIME.
AT 9 AM , I LEFT MY HOUSE FOR A MEETING WITH A FEW ICE CUBES & A DIET COKE. WHEN I RETURNED TO THE VEHICLE AT 2 PM, THE ICE CUBES
WERE STILL IN THE MUG & ONLY SLIGHTLY MELTED.

I EXPERIENCE THE SAME RESULT WITH HOT COFFEE.

THE PART I LOVE THE MOST ABOUT IT - IS THAT I CAN THROW IT IN THE DISHWASHER & IT NOT WORRY ABOUT IT AT ALL. NOT JUST THE STAINLESS STEEL BUT THE RUBBER HOLDER & LID HAVE HELD UP OVER 3 YEARS NOW. I AM ON-LINE NOW BUYING ANOTHER ONE TO GIVE TO A CUSTOMER.

I have now owned 2 of these. The first one quit working after about 6 months, but it worked so well I bought a second one. It lasted about a year, and died with a flair, shooting sparks out the left side. Althought they work great while they work, I will never buy another. Caveat emptor!

I bought a similar machine to this one a couple of years ago and have used it three times total and just threw it in the trash. The first use seemed to go just fine. It picked up loads of dirt and debris from the carpets throughout the 1800 ft^2 of my home. It then sat in a closet for about a year before I pulled it out again. When I went to run it, next to no fluid would come out of the main nozzles on the base. I next tried to use the hand unit and found it working perfectly. Plenty of fluid and suction. So I tore it all apart to find that the lines connecting to the main nozzles were completely gunked up with what looked like lime (I guess my water is quite hard and this is a problem). After purging the lines, cleaning out the nozzles, etc, I put it all back together and got it to work. Not as well as it did fresh out of the box mind you. I just pulled it out the closet today to use one last time before selling it (we are moving) to find the same problem...No spray from the main nozzles. Remembering what happened last time, I proceeded out to my garage to tear it apart to find the clog. To my surprise, there was no lime deposits but was instead completely clogged with mold and fungus. The lines were teeming with black algae-like residue. I tore the lines apart, purged them, put it all back together again but this time had no luck. No spray at all. I've finally had it with this product and decided to toss it in the trash and call a professional. I would recommend this approach to anyone considering buying this. I know the price of a professional can be steep but compared to the irritation of tearing apart a machine to make it work properly, it is quite fair.

This mediocre-machine has a container within a container. The bladder type of container holds the clean water while the dirty water goes out-side the bladder. The problem is the bladder opening often falls in, mixing the dirty & clean water together. Customer service who readily replaced my tank was prompt and curteous.

Suction is okay. Brush is okay. I haven't checked the outlet temp, but it supposed to raise my water temp by 25�F, but I don't think that's happening.

Overall, it's an average machine from the wally-world. It works compared to the Hoover that brokedown, so I guess that's a plus. Just a few more months of these and we're getting hardwood floor, so bu-bye stinking steamers.
