This is not a good product to purchase. It has terrible suction and is very loud. When we tried to clean out the tank all the dirt stuck into the hard corners. I would not recommend this product. I returned the vacuum.

This little vacuum is pretty impressive. It is great on hardwood floors and small area rugs. I would not recommend this type of vacuum cleaner for large carpet surfaces. A great variety of attachments are included. The only downside is that they advertise it to be an aroma vacuum, but do not include any samples of oils that can be used or information on purchasing them.

This vaccum is great. I was worried about the bag/filter light to see if the bag would really be full before it came on and low and behold the bag was stuffed when the light came on. I have not had any problems and would recommend this vaccum to anyone. It works great on picking up dog hair from the carpet and bare floors.

It's a beautiful design and color but that's as far as it goes in the world of coffee carafes. The handle on top is very thin and requires some strength in turning the top (I've had to go so far as to utilizing a screwdriver or knife as a lever!). It keeps the coffee moderately warm but not hot, but that may be a by-product of my fear of really screwing the top on too tightly. If looks are what you are after, this is the one for you. If you require your coffee to be kept with some modicum of heat retention, look elsewhere!

I have had previous FoodSaver machines over the years. The end product (food sealed in a bag) is great, but the machines have all had their problems with either user interface, ingestion of liquids into the pump, or just took up too much counter space. With this new model, Tilia (the foodSaver people) have taken everything that was good about the old systems and totally improved it so that it is now a viable system. To begin with, the machine folds in half so that it only takes up about 3 inches on your counter top, yet has room to store rolls of bag material. The heating element is twice as wide as that on any of their other machines, so it gives a more reliable seal. The bag roll storage and cutting knife system work excellently. This unit has variable motor speeds and seal levels. Also very cool, the motor now stops during sealing, so if you start sealing early when you are trying not to crush something (like a muffin), it doesn't turn it into a pancake (like earlier units). Last, and best is the "pulse vacuum" feature. Think of a blender. When you push the button, the motor is on. When you release the button, the motor is off. This way, you can take out exaclty the desired amount of air from a bag to prevent crushing. Other things - styling is great (stainless steel with anti-fingerprint coating), blue color LEDs, and membrane panel for easy cleaning. Even the drip tray (used for collecting liquids) has a "backstop" molded onto it so that it hold the liquids when the unit is rotated 90 degrees. If you ever wanted a vacuum packaging system for you home and have a few extra dollars to spend (unit is a little pricey), this is the one to get. Oh, and the stainless steel is a little magnetic, so you can use it as a place to put decorative magnets and customize your kitchen.

I give it a star for price as I purchased on sale at a local Woodcraft store for $16. However, I will be returning it. Woodcraft's website says this fits 2-1/2" shop vac hoses. Wrong. A standard 2-1/2" vacume hose is too small to fit over the connector and too large to fit inside it. In fact, they are similar diameters. ONly the fact that the cyclone lids connectors are a thicker plastic that the vacume hose, make them somewhat different diameters both inside and out. I do not want to take time to force fit or search out adapters to make the connections work. It is also true the lid fits losely on 5-gallon buckets and you would also need to rig a way to strengthen the fit so dust did not escape and so the lid did not fall off when hoses are moved or the bucket bumped. A total dud in my opinion.

Mine did not fit the top of the bucket ,so I put the lid on and it fit nice and tight. I cut the lid , left a 1/12 inch lip around the top. works perfect now thanks FDR

I like it, received as Xmas present three years ago. Fits the top of all my 5gal plastic buckets. Ports fit all my misc collection of 2-1/2inch hoses and adaptors. Eliminates the heavy clean-up mess from my saw. Much easier to dump and clean than my wet-dry vac. Vac filters and dust bags last longer. A great start towards a more complete dust collection system.

It is a loose fit attachment, not a 'snap in place' gadget. It is easier to use with a short bungee stretched across the top to hold it on the top of the bucket. Hose ends go in about an inch. If I'm concerned about them pulling out, I use a band clamp on the end.

It also fits and works well with a small, 10gal shipping barrel. "It's a shiny thing, and I like it."
